AU where Tom Riddle gets the Defence Against the Dark Arts position. It is 1968, and Bellatrix Black is in her final year of Hogwarts as his student. Desperate for any kind of special recognition from Professor Riddle, she hatches a plot to target muggle-born students at the annual Halloween Ball. As the Ball approaches, their intimate relationship outside of class heats up.
