As She Lay Dying

Nim was dying. In a morphine induced dream, two people come to her pleading for her help. Don't they realize she's burnt toast? How do they expect her to help them? She says she'll come. Nim dies. And she returns to a world she left long ago. A world now filled with darkness and hate. Nim feels the power flowing through her. Time to take out the trash, she thinks with a smirk.
