AU. Dumbledore worries about a letter from Figg. He sends Snape, who arrives just before Lucius Malfoy. They find an abused and half starved Harry and sweep him away, introducing him to a new life. Rated M for mention of child abuse, neglect, and language. No slash/pairings, possible one shot. May make more if there is enough desire. May be expanded. We'll see.
