HTTYD 2 SPOILERS - When ordered to kill by the alpha, something inside the controlled night fury told him not to kill but only stun the boy in front of him, weeks after the final battle with Drago, Stoick has awakened after long unconsciousness in a village far away from Berk and must begin his journey home.
