Kris has faced many troubles, such as though a more thoroughly confident and strong leader could curtail quickly and within time to save the world. Kris, however, was more than just a metaphorical puppet. With the glimmer of a new future, perhaps their downtrodden life could turn for the better, and they could be free of the tyrant's whim, and be normal again.
