This follows the plot of the original Naruto series (first 220 eps), with the added caveat that it's focusing on a relationship that's exciting and mundane. Is it weird to start a relationship over a pen-pal service? Yuka hates the violence to a political extreme. Kakashi is a scary ninja working for the Man. Somehow, they both teach twelve-year-olds.
