Sunlit Days

For one torturous minute, while Albus listened to his brother's screams, while his sister's soul drifted away, while his heart continued to betray him just by beating - Albus really believed that Gellert would stay. For the words left unsaid would linger in his wake, and Albus would learn to carry on in the absence of those sunlit days. But for now, they had only just begun.
