When Shield sees something as a possible threat, they strive to defeat it, or at least be ready to. After finding out how easily Stark hacked their systems, they've made changes, but in watching Stark their eyes are drawn to a new prize. In their ignorance, they put Tony's AI in danger. Their mistake could cost Jarvis heavily.
