'Sorrow makes wisdom, Elanor. Never ask to be wise.' Interrupted from writing the Red Book by Elanor's cries, Frodo decides to take the baby for a walk, so Rosie can rest. While out, he struggles to come to terms with a decision he's making. Takes place after the war, when Sam and Rosie are living with Frodo.
