While visiting the American counterpart of his old Duel Academy, Jaden is surprised to find Alexis working there as an assistant teacher. Circumstances force Jaden to figure out how he truly feels about Alexis, but before he can deal with those feelings an ancient enemy of the Supreme King rises to spread chaos.
