Bert's angels

This story came to me one night and it won't leave, so here we are. This is about Bert and Mary and their life after the film/book/play. It has absolutely no basis in reality, just so you know. Bert and Mary are happily married, but when they see a child in trouble they can't help but help them. It seems there is a new member of the Alfred family.
