The Potters, though a mysterious family have always handled their own in society. But when a prophecy threatend the safety of the newly born Potter Heir, Albus Dumbledore pleaded with James Potter to leave the country. Knowing that the Potters are safe, Dumbledore only had to deal with one other family. Meanwhile, Harry deals with his own problems in another school.
