An AU of how Heath comes to live at the Barkley Ranch. This story loosely follows series canon - including some episodes from the tv series but not necessarily in order. It starts before Heath finds out who his father was...before the death of his mother and his visit to Strawberry. Though the focus is on Heath in the beginning, it will eventually shift to Jarrod.
