As the daughter of Pete Mitchell and Penny Benjamin, Lily - nicknamed Sunshine by the pilots of Top Gun- had grown up with Bradley Bradshaw. She had admired him when she was a child, but now she didn't know if she hated him or loved him after blaming her for what her father did when he pulled Bradley's papers.
