At the precipitous onset of June 6, 1944, there lies the souls of the 52nd Infantry Battalion of the U.S. Army. Pondering their soon-to-be, sure-to-be gruesome deaths at the hands of the Germans, and fate itself. But for one soldier, however, there is hope to be found in the most unlikely of places.
