Daryl couldn't bring himself to look at Rick as that calloused thumb dipped slightly into his mouth. In his life he had never had anything close to this, and though he has no idea what he's doing, he'll follow Rick through anything. No matter what it is that Rick wants, because just maybe that's what he wants as well.
