During the battle of Hogwarts Narcissa is faced with a choice, side with Bellatrix who has hurt her child enough since her escape from Azkaban, or side with Remus and her niece? For a mother, the choice was easier than she thought, though she could not save Tonks, she did manage to rescue Remus and, later, they fell in love.
