For Want of a Heart

Written for Round 3 of the QLFC 5th Season for Pride of Portree. Hermione is used to helping herself. She is, after all, the brightest witch of her age. The problem is that Ron doesn't seem to agree, pushing her away and leaving her alone with her books. Soon, however, she finds that books make the best friends after all. In fact, they may even have more heart than some wizards.
