Cato is a big dumb boy with big dumb hands and a big dumb brain. His parents ignore him, his teachers sigh at him, and school is hard and sitting still is hard and he's not good at anything. Except at the Centre, where he doesn't have to read or sit and the trainers give him cookies and no one yells at him for being stupid or loud or clumsy.
