My first story! We're never shown or told about Carter's parents so this is my own take on them. (Warning! Mentions of abuse!) After Carter's parents are killed in a fire he goes to live with his grandparents. But even though he seems to be healing as he grows older, inside, there's still a little boy who's unsure of himself and the world around him.
