Austin had so little going for him, he had no parents, a few weak friends and no support. What he does have is a free ride to Whitemore college and a burgeoning set of powers that earns him a chance to befriend and study under Sheila Bennet. Excited, he does all he can to arm himself before the storm of misery and evil arrives at Mystic falls. Can he survive it all?
