Sasuko Uchiwa, une jeune aristocrate japonaise âgée de 17 ans, monte à bord du Titanic accompagnée de sa famille et de son fiancé arrogant, Kabuto Yakushi. Durant son voyage inaugurale de Southampton à New-York, elle rencontre un jeune homme vagabond américain libre, Naruto Uzumaki, voyageant en troisième classe.
