Attack of the Invisible Psychic Vampire

On a February evening in 1993 Harry and Ginny find themselves lost in the Forbidden Forest with no idea how they got there. Ginny then gets attacked by an invisible force that seems to be similar to the descriptions given in Gilderoy Lockhart's 'Voyages with Vampires.' How can you fight off an enemy you can't see, hear, or sense at all?
