Tsar Alexander III of Imperial Russia strips his eldest son, the future "Nicholas II", of the title of heir. Nicholas leaves Russia to Germany, and he meets his true love, Alix of Hesse. Their family must find their way in an ever changing world. An Anastasia AU and bildungsroman epic. WIP.
