In times of war

This is the absolutely unedited first draft of the first chapter of a jily/marauder fic that I'm currently working on. It's based on a lot of the headcanons I have about the Marauders era. The real thing won't be up for a long while yet, but I thought I'd post this now just to give you a little taste. Tell me what you think! :)
