Fawkes

Fawkes has lived in Dumbledore's study for a long time. But where did she come from and what is she doing there? Is she just Dumbledore's pet? Or something... well...unexpected? (A/N: I'm not exactly sure if Fawkes is a girl, but in this story she is)
