Some things in life mean nothing: promises of forever, time, and moments. They mean nothing for they have no value to one when they do not effect one, to Sesshomaru they mean nothing. Or rather they meant nothing until there was one little human girl who they meant everything to. She promised him forever, he knows she can't give it to him however he'll cherish every moment she has.
