Summary
Two Orphans from Gran Pulse are chosen as l'Cie by the fal'cie Anima, servants of the Gods with a great and terrible destiny. On the run from the Sanctum, the government of the artificial world of Cocoon, they must discover their Focus. If they succeed, they will be rewarded with eternal life in a crystal sleep. If they fail, they will become mindless.
