With Dumbledore gone and McGonagall in St Mungo, Umbridge is at the height of her power in Hogwarts. The detentions she is giving Harry are getting worse and worse, and his best friends, forced to stand by as he repeatedly gets hurt, start thinking about desperate measures – such as turning to Snape for help.
