Summary
The Dark Ages were no picnic, Lord Shaxx can tell you himself. Too many stories of loss, and few of hope. When a nomadic group led by a reluctant warlord, Aida, makes camp near his people trouble is quick to follow, but Shaxx refuses to allow both his own people and hers to become casualties. The choices he faces are hard, but for Aida its easy: their lives or hers.
