The legacy each cat leaves behind is told in stories for generations to come... Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight want to have kits, but a witch named Mapleshade has cursed their family, and will only lift the spell if they bring her four cats: one with fur as black as night, one with claws as strong as a lion's, one with eyes as green as glass, and one with a heart as pure as gold.
