The Twentieth Century History of Magic

After the Battle of Hogwarts, Hermione is the only one of the "Golden Trio" who returns to the school to attain her N.E.W.T.s. Harry and Ron move on to become Aurors at the Ministry of Magic instead. Severus Snape survives Nagini's attack, because of an antidot to the snake's venom he carries in his own robes. He resumes his old post two weeks after the term has started.
