The Beginning

Commander Shepard has become the first human Spectre and must stop Saren Arterius from bringing back the Reapers. But her trials on Akuze haunt her every step and Shepard struggles to be both a commander and a friend. A re-imagining that follows the storyline of the first Mass Effect, but is not meant to be a novelization of the game.
