Summary
Despite growing up in the port town of Yukigaoka, Hinata Shouyou never had any wish to go to sea. Then one night of songs and stories fills his head with dreams, and he wakes the next morning to find himself a newly conscripted powder boy aboard The Swan, a stately navy vessel under the stern command of Ushijima Wakatoshi.
