AU. Sherlock is a child. Moriarty and John are grown-ups. Based on the last scenes in Pan's Labyrinth. Sherlock is running from Moriarty, but Moriarty finds him. John tries to rescue Sherlock, but it's too late. So, John sings Sherlock to sleep. The lullaby John sings is from Pan's Labyrinth. This can be happening for whatever reason you would like it to be.
