Pokémon: A Guardian's Tale I

Theodore Ward, a Guardian, is tasked with bringing peace to the Elmas Region. A Guardian for hire, he travels the land subduing troublesome Pokémon, from mischievous Murkrow to city-razing Steelix. On his travels he allies himself with capable trainers and healers who work with him when a shadowy cabal rise and infiltrate the four corners of Elmas.
