Gin gets pulled into the world of demigods when Artemis was sent to bring her to Camp Half-Blood by her mother. When she discovers that her mother is Hera, Queen of Olympus, her life becomes even more difficult when she begins a journey of discovering her powers, dealing with the disrespect of her and her mother, and trying to convince Zeus that she isn't the Lightning Thief.
