If He'd been Quicker

Alternate timeline idea. What if Inuyasha had been quicker to grab the shikon jewel from the start? Quicker to take his chances, to make his wish? How might the feudal fairytale have gone if he refused to play nice at the start to make his point? I for one think there'd be far more deaths and an even slower burn romance.
