After the war of Succession, Ser Enjolras became the Lord of the Barricade, the southern border of the Kingdom that was the first to fall. Yet he is given his reprieve as Lady Eponine Thenardier is to become his wife and his lady. Basically its just medieval fantasy bullshit.
