Shadow the Hedgehog doesn't remember his past, yet is constantly told to adhere to it. He is told of his heritage, and is commanded to put loyalty to it. He is told that he made a promise, yet doesn't remember making it. When no options are left to you, what is left to do but destroy that which tries to command you without knowing you?
