AU. Follows the lives of several characters during the beginning of The Second Wizarding War. A woman named Carys Blackthorne, a spymaster's apprentice, her mysterious mentor Thomas Everett, and a potential double agent named Severus Snape. Given an impossible set of choices, they find themselves with a challenge more daunting than they would have ever predicted.
