Why Peter Pettigrew cannot be

Has anyone other than me read fics that put Peter in a house other than Gryffindor? Not that I like the rat or anything, but these are the reasons Wormtail cannot possibly be in any of the other houses. Notice I didn't say fit in? I don't own H. Potter
