As Team Sonic search for the Fire Element Crystal with the Eastern Freedom Fighters, Honey, Sonia, Manic, and the Hedgehog Uncles at Dazzling Desert, Robotnik has to celebrate his wedding anniversary with Katella. At the same time, the rest of his team prevents the heroes from succeeding.
