Things were different after the War. Malfoy worked in Auror Office and so did Hermione. While Marriage Law was pushing the two closer and closer, time was running out. And how could one manage a dark wizard and marriage at the same time? (I hate and I love. Why I do this, perhaps you ask? I do not know, but I feel it happening and I am tortured.)
