After a traumatic time in France, Castiel becomes voluntarily mute. His mother kicked out of his large house in rural, Nice, France, he and his older brother, Gabriel, and sister, Anna, head towards nowhere, finding themselves in a small city in Italy, where Castiel meets his first boyfriend, Inias, who he dates for six months. Moving to America, Castiel befriends four people.
