Anubis' Avatar was anything but merciful in her judging, used to having to be the grey area between the gods, doing the parts they didn't have the heart to make their Avatars do. Her violence was beautiful, they hated to admit, but there was something good in her dark actions. Having another God be revived after Ammit was not on her list of things to prevent.
