The Death of a Hero (One-Shot, Clace AU)

What if Clary actually died in Queen of Air and Darkness? How would Jace react? How would Simon, her parabatai, react? What about the rest of her family and friends? Would Emma deliver Clary’s message to Jace? (P.S. I never read past, like, 100 pages of Lord of Shadows for the Dark Artifices Series, so this is mostly my imagination.)
