Hazel Potter isn't like most, where most would envy and wish for the attention her brother Harry received, Hazel knew better. There was nothing to be envied, Harry's life sucked beyond belief. Hazel knew this so rather than allowing herself to hate her brother for all the attention pointed his way she instead made herself memorable in other ways.
