Three years after the events of Scorpia Rising, Julius Grief rises from the grave with one goal: kill Alex Rider. This means chasing him to America, where Alex is on a mission, to get the job done. This becomes easier said than done when SCORPIA comes into the picture with a deal. Meanwhile, Alex is only just figuring out what's going on: a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
