Her engagment with Luke Castellan over, and pregnant at the hands of her rebound she quiets her job in New York and shifts back to New York as a rode trip. On this trip Annabeth gets stuck in a rural county in Colorado. Pregnant and with her career in shatters, things couldn't possible get worse, could they?
